In celebration of its establishment in Monaco, Shibuya Productions is launching a new free event dedicated to manga, comics, animation and video games. The Monaco Anime Game International Conference (MAGIC) will take place the 21st March 2015 and will gather fans and the largest Japanese and European artists under one roof. All of you will get the chance to meet, interact and be part of an awesome experience.
MAGIC will also host a unique cosplay contest, organized by BulleJapon, where you can not only show of your skills and creativity, but also meet some of Europe’s top cosplayers.
Last, but not least you can submit your own video game creations for a chance to win a grand prize of €100 000. Games will be evaluated based on how successful and interesting their game-play is.
Location
Situated perfectly between the sea and the mountains just beside Italy, the Grimaldi Forum is a unique location for our conference. With a total area of 15 000 m2, the Forum offers several rooms and lecture halls, a large restaurant and bar, and an incredible terrace with iconic panoramic views.
MAGIC will take place at the 800-sitter amphitheater.
A 7000 m2 true Japanese garden is also located near MAGIC, where you can soak up the beautiful Monaco sunshine.
Cosplayers and visitors can enjoy the promenade by the sea, a perfect place to take some incredible photos!
Monaco will bring together the leading figures from the world of video games, animation and manga.
This event is easily accessible by car, the TER from Nice for less then €4 (~ 20 min) or by bus from any point in the Alpes – Maritimes area for just €1.
