IAM
IAM is considered as one of the pillars of French hip-hop as well as one of the best bands in its history. Formed in 1989, it consists of Akhenaton and Shurik’n on vocals, Kheops, Imhotep, Kephren on turntables, and formerly Freeman. They have launched 8 albums, including the famous L’École du micro d’argent published in 1997, awarded the Victoires de la Musique and certified diamond disc.
