Dolph Lundgren
Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish actor, director, producer and screenwriter, born in 1957.
From the age of 16, he began practicing martial arts with judo, karate and kyokushinkai. He began the high level competition in 1979 and won the British Open in 1980 and 1981, and the Australian Open in 1982. Thanks to his training with the US National Pentathlon Team for the eponymous film released in 1994 , he competes at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996 as an honorary captain of the American team.
After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1982 with a Master of Chemical Engineering and then joining the MIT (Massachussets Institute of Technology) in 1983, he began his acting career performing a KGB agent in Dangerously Yours in 1985 alongside Roger Moore. But his career is really launched thanks to his interpretation of Ivan Drago, a Russian boxer of 1m97, in Rocky 4 in 1985. Then he continues the action movies such as Punisher (1989) or the saga Expendables. In 2018, he will star in Aquaman and Creed 2, a film in which he will meet his friend Sylvester Stallone.
His physique inspired the character of Duke Nukem, from the video game of the same name released in 1991.
