Shûhei Hosono / Magic International Manga Contest Jury member

Assistant chief editor of weekly magazine Shûkan Shônen Jump and manager of the “Shônen Jump +” website. In 2000, he joined Shueisha where he started an editor career with the team of monthly prepublishing magazine Gekkan Shônen Jump.

Later, he’s been working for magazine Jump Square, then in 2012 he joined the editorial board of weekly Shûkan Shonen Jump as assistant chief editor.

He also contributed to the development of “Shônen Jump +”, an application of Shônen Jump for smartphones. As an editor, he’s been working a.o. on Letter Bee (by Hiroyuki Asada) and Seraph of the end (by Takaya Kagami and Yamato Yamamoto).
